Alpine Quarries has been in business for over 7 years and in that time we have seen many changes in the Natural Dimension stone business. The company has taken a large step to surpass its rival companies and place itself amongst the premier stone manufacturing companies in North America. We have the first working, installed, and in-house five-axis CNC machine in Canada, the only CNC based wire saw machine, and one of only three full production treatment lines in North America. This allows us to produce over 6,000 linear feet of standard production stone in a day, which in the past would have taken almost 20 days for 3 workers to complete.
The five-axis saw allows us to custom-make and design, through CAD software, almost anything a client can provide sketches for. In the past, this would have required a stone carver many weeks to complete. The possibilities for the specialty saws and production line are endless and have only focused on the Calgary residential market in the past.
Our strategy moving forward is to focus solely on the high end ($3 million plus) custom homes in Western Canada, commercial production throughout Canada, and the restoration of various Canadian government buildings. As the governments at various levels (Municipal, Provincial, and Federal) have gone public with the need to stimulate the Canadian economy with investments in its infrastructure, it has been anticipated that dozens of government buildings (100+ years old) will finally be ready for the restoration dollars they are so badly in need of.

Our Indiana Verigated stone sills and headers outline the windows in a contemporary approach. The garage doors are crowned with a simple yet elegant header centred with a pitch faced keystone.

Description: Standing at the base of this contemporary yet sophisticated residence is our horizontal stone panels. With a timeless Honed finish the stone panels and caps compliment the designer's modern design with a modern linear pattern.

Description: An elegant manor that displays the same pattern and stone throughout the design while displaying contrast between finishes. Natural face stone stand on the base building with bush hammered stones reaching the soffit. A slightly different tone of arch stones, door trims and window header give the openings just the right amount of highlight.

Description: Heightening the appearance of the focal points of this residence is our pitched ashlar pattern. Although presenting traditional fundamentals the design adds contemporary elements utilizing stone features. Profiled, honed (smooth) stone bands line the windows and garage door while the stone bands provide a clean transition between finishes.
